Short Term Goals:

• Graduate from Auburn University College of Nursing in May 2025 earning a Master of Science Primary Care Nurse Practitioner degree

• Complete the Sarah Michelle Review Course in preparation for certification

• Register to take the AANP certification exam within one month of graduation

• Sucessfully pass the AANP certification exam

• Obtain a full or part-time position as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner serving the local community

Future Goals:​

1 year Goals:

• Join a local professional Nurse Practitioner organization

• Work and gain experience to evolve as a well-rounded NP

• Maintain research standards to utilize the practice of EBP within the organization in which I am employed

5 year Goals:​

• Assist in the role as a preceptor and mentor for other nursing students 

• Obtain specialty certifications 

• Become fluent in practice providing optimal patient care

• ​Stay current with legislation regarding practice standards in the state of Alabama

• Assist as an adjunct instructor as needed

• Earn Doctorate of Nursing degree

Long Term Goals:

• Continue life-long learning and evolve in practice as the use of technology advances to maintain optimal patient care

• Establish a long-standing client base through building trust and rapport with patients

• Provide excellent patient care as reflected in quality measures and patient satisfaction scores
